How does Amberen silence the symptoms of menopause so completely?
Though up to 35 distinct symptoms are associated with menopause, they all have a common cause: the body loses its ability to regulate and produce hormones because of age-related changes in the neuroendocrine system, especially the part of the brain called the hypothalamus.
Amberen effectively alleviates symptoms of menopause by reversing age-related changes in the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis, which is the core of the female hormonal signaling system. Remarkably, Amberen also restores energy metabolism to youthful levels, supporting optimal function of vital organs and tissues.
How is Amberen different from other remedies?
Amberen corrects metabolic and neuroendocrine control mechanisms by using a signal energy intermediate, instead of the commonly-used hormonal therapies that have been shown to carry significant risk. It is the only treatment of its kind in that it rejuvenates the body’s own internal hormone production capability.
What are the benefits of Amberen vs. red clover, Black Cohosh and other herbal products?
Amberen has the unique ability to restore the body’s own balancing systems. Symptomatic relief with Amberen results from the rejuvenation of the body’s own regulatory ability. Red Clover, Black Cohosh and other herbal remedies have been used with varying success for years because of their ability to act like estrogens and bind to estrogen receptors. Though they have been a popular non-drug treatment in the past, concerns about allergic responses, poor quality control and limited efficacy have limited their adoption by medical professionals.
Soy extracts (isoflavones) have been shown to create problems with thyroid balance, breast cancer risk and allergies as well. Amberen gets to the root of the menopause problem by restoring youthful sensitivity and function to the body’s own control mechanisms instead of “covering up” symptoms.
What are the active ingredients in Amberen?
Amberen consists of intermediary energy metabolites, which are the molecules that naturally occur in our own cells as key components of the Krebs cycle. The Amberen concept evolved from a discovery made by its developers that these molecules not only serve as a vital cellular fuel, but also mimic the effect of signaling hormones!
Is Amberen effective for perimenopausal and menopausal women?
In clinical trials, menopausal and perimenopausal women both reported dramatic improvements in quality of life due to symptom relief.
Can Amberen help in cases of premature menopause?
Yes. In clinical trials, premature menopause was largely reversed. Benefits included restored regularity of menstrual cycles and the return of normal thickness of the endometrium.
Can Amberen help in cases of a Hysterectomy and/or Oophorectomy?
Women who have had a hysterectomy were NOT included in our clinical trials. But, our doctors had great success using Amberen to treat women with total and partial hysterectomies. Also, we have been getting some very positive feedback from our customers who had partial or full hysterectomy. There are other endocrine glands (besides ovaries) and organs that are involved in hormone secretion. For example, once the ovaries cease to function, estrogen production is taken over by the adrenal glands. And that's when Amberen can be especially helpful in regulating the hypothalamic sensitivity and helping your body balance its hormonal "landscape".
Will Amberen help me lose weight?
In clinical trials, women who were treated with Amberen reported loss of excess weight. Individual results may vary.

I’m taking prescription hormones (HRT). How do I switch to Amberen?
Your physician will be able to help you identify the best of three ways to do that:
- Integrate Amberen into your existing treatment regimen. As Amberen begins to stimulate your body’s own hormone-producing and regulating functions (and energy metabolism), you can gradually lower the amount of prescription hormone and eventually discontinue hormone therapy altogether.
- Start Amberen during a pause in your hormone treatment.
- Interrupt your hormone treatment and begin taking Amberen.
Does Amberen have any side effects?
Animal studies, toxicology and clinical trials with Amberen did not reveal any significant side-effects.
Can Amberen improve my sex life?
Women reported a significant improvement in the quality of their sex life as a result of alleviation of vaginal dryness, itching and burning. An improved level of drive, energy and vitality were associated with improved sexuality in clinical trials.
Do I need to supplement Amberen with any other drug or natural remedy?
Amberen was developed to stand alone as a “monotherapy.” This means that Amberen can work as your only treatment for symptoms of menopause, without any additional drugs or herbal supplements. However, Amberen can be safely combined with your existing treatment(s).
What were the results of animal studies?
In animal studies, the identical compound used in Amberen restored the estral cycle in old mice and reversed other menopausal symptoms, including loss of bone tissue weight and calcium content. It also had a favorable effect on the appearance and behavior of animals-they became more active, their lackluster eyes acquired brightness, and their pale, yellowish coat regained white color and shine, resembling the coat of young animals. Spots of bald skin also grew new hair.

How do you take Amberen?
Inside each of our packages is a self assessment test. Once completed, you will choose:
- 90-day Course "A" - For Mild to Moderate Symptoms Two capsules (1 white + 1 orange) once a day after breakfast for 90 days. If, after 30 days, you haven't noticed any significant improvements, switch to Course B.
- 90-day Course "B" - For Severe Menopausal Symptoms Four capsules (2 whites + 2 orange) once a day after breakfast for 90 days.
Amberen is similar to antibiotics in the sense that you need to take it every day at the same time until the symptoms are all gone. Who should NOT take Amberen?
Amberen is not recommended for patients suffering from thyroid goiter and extreme forms of uncontrolled arterial hypertension. If you have been diagnosed with either of these conditions, please consult your physician before taking Amberen.
